Healing what’s heavy — and growing what’s ahead.
Two ways I come alongside adults: counseling for the weights we carry, and coaching for the life we’re growing toward. Many people move between the two.
Healing what’s heavy
A safe place to tell the truth about your story and move toward healing and wholeness. Together we make sense of what you’re carrying and take real steps forward.
- Anxiety
- Depression
- Grief & loss
- Identity & self-understanding
- Life transitions
Growing toward who you’re meant to be
The work I’m most passionate about. For people who aren’t in crisis but sense there’s more — more clarity, more direction, more alignment between their life and their values. Available anywhere, online.
- Personal growth
- Finding direction
- Value-driven living
- Purpose & calling
Acceptance & Commitment Therapy
Much of my work draws on ACT — Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. Rather than fighting hard feelings or waiting for them to disappear before you live, ACT helps you make room for what’s difficult, get unhooked from the thoughts that keep you stuck, and take committed action toward what matters most to you.
Paired with a faith-integrated lens, it’s a gentle but honest way to move toward the life you actually want — values first, one real step at a time.
A couple of boundaries
So you know what to expect before you reach out:
- Individual clients only — I don’t offer couples counseling.
- Ages 16 and up.
Not sure whether counseling or coaching is the right starting point? That’s exactly what a first conversation is for — we’ll figure it out together.
Common questions
Do you meet in person or online?
Both. In-person counseling is based in Houston, and life coaching is available anywhere by video.
Is your counseling faith-based?
My faith shapes how I see people and this work, and I’m glad to integrate it in the room. You’re welcome exactly as you are — we’ll go at a pace and depth that fits you.
What’s the difference between counseling and coaching?
Counseling tends to focus on healing — working through anxiety, depression, grief, or old hurt. Coaching is future-focused — clarifying direction, values, and purpose when you’re ready to grow. Many people do a bit of both.
Who do you work with?
Adults, ages 16 and up, individually. I don’t offer couples counseling — though individual work on relationship patterns is often exactly what helps.
Ready to take a first step?
Tell me a little about what’s bringing you here. I’ll follow up personally.
